More About Campus Safety Services at MCCC

At MCCC, we are serious about providing a safe campus for our students, employees and visitors; our security staff is comprised of individuals with extensive law enforcement and/or security experience and knowledge.

Our security staff has an excellent working relationship with local law enforcement agencies, including the Monroe County Sheriff's Department and the Michigan State Police.

Both foot and vehicle security/safety patrols are conducted throughout the day and evening.

In addition to institutional safety procedures, students and staff are encouraged to be personally responsible for their own security as well as others and to report all suspicious activity.

To report a suspected crime or an emergency on campus, contact MCCC Campus Security in the Warrick Student Center near Admissions. or call the Switchboard by dialing 0, the Security Office at (734) 457-6007 or the Security Office mobile phone at (734) 735-9401. If Campus Security cannot be reached, call 911. A crime or emergency that occurs off campus should be reported to the police department having legal jurisdiction for that area.

Sexual harassment, civil rights and Americans with Disabilities Act concerns should be brought to the attention of MCCC’s Title IX Coordinator, the executive director of human resources, at (734) 384-4245. The HR Office is located in A-138.

To learn more about more about Title IX resources visit MCCC's Title IX Resources page.
